Responsibilities - lead and develop the client accounting division. - manage an array of existing client relationships ensuring all clients' statutory accounts are compiled in an accurate and timely manner. - review financial statements, management reports, tax returns and payroll reports in accordance to accounting principles and company policies and procedures. - develop and train a sizeable team of accounting professionals to better service clientele. - promote team harmony and resolve any issues which may present itself on a day-to-day basis. - attend various networking functions to develop business relations with potential clients. - initiate the development of new client relationships. - assist the managing director in identifying and planning for new business propositions. Requirements - university graduate in Finance or Accounting. - professionally qualified from an international professional accounting institution. - a minimum of 10 years experience in a professional service firm with a proven track record in team management and development. - technically strong and well versed in Indian and international accounting standards. - commercially oriented with a strong ability to identify and solidify new business opportunities. - extensive exposure to international clients with demonstrated business development abilities. - excellent multitasking and analytical skills. - strong communication skills and interpersonal skills.
